Parties Organize in Crawford County
Executive Committees Will Meet Soon to Name Chairmen
Bucyrus, August 25--The newly formed executive committee of both the Republican and Democratic parties are scheduled to meet soon to elect county chairmen it was announced by both parties Wednesday after the executive committees were formed and the central committees were organized.
Officers elected for the central committees are: Democrats: A.H. Wells of New Washington, chairman; L.P. Auck, Whetstone, vice chairman; Mr. Morrow of North Robinson, secretary, and M.V. Snyder, Crestline, treasurer; Republicans: W.E. Durr of Bucyrus, chairman, C.V. Vollrath of Bucyrus, secretary, and G.M. [unreadable] of Galion, treasurer. Durr succeeds Jack Sheckler and Weis was re-elected. Dr. H.H. Hartman of Galion is present Democratic executive chairman and C.V. Vollrath heads the Republican committee.
Executive committee members named by the Democrats are: Bucyrus: Chester Sharrock, E.C. Oppenlander, Harvey Ulmer, William Reinemeyer; Galion: George Ceson, Herman Plack, W.L. [unreadable], and A.H. Newhouse; Crestline: Frank Clements and B. Pry; New Washington: A.H. [unreadable], Proctor High, and A. Zeigler of Chatfield; D.W. Wickham of Texas Township; Wilbur [unreadable] of Whetstone; Oliver Hartman of Vernon Township; William Keller of Lykens; and Morris Knisely of North Robinson.
The Republican executive committee members are: H.S. Seigel, Mrs. J.E. Faulkner, J.D. Sears, C.V. Vollrath of Bucyrus; W.M. King, Albert Cox, Bert Wilson, and Jay F. Nichols, Galion; J.F. McMahon and George Beck of Crestline; Mrs. Paul Dornbirer of Chatfield; E.N. Powell, New Washington; F.E. LaRue, Lykens; O.H. Hilbon, Tiro, and H.G. McMichael, Whetstone.

Solid maple bedroom set consisting of two full size beds, dresser and mirror, chest and night stand; R.C.A. console television, like new; living room suite; occasional chairs; rockers; round bronze finish breakfast set with four chairs; coffee table; vanity; large rug; throw rugs; pictures; clocks; cedar chest; bottled gas range; General Electric refrigerator; Speed Queen wringer washer, stainless steel style; laundry tubs; 2 burner hot plate; Hoover sweeper; many electrical appliances like new; set of 1847 Rogers silverware; service for 6 tableware and other miscellaneous kitchenware; draperies; curtains; garden tools including power mower and electric hedge trimmer; many items of bric-a-brac including cups and saucers from foreign countries; large mirror; fireplace tools including andirons and screen.
The following refinished antique items: round walnut table; walnut wash stand; 6 legged drop leaf extension table; square mahogany table; walnut spool bed; captains chair; ladies chair; plate rack. Glassware includes milk glass, goblets, pitchers, sauce dishes, colored china salts; vases, cups and saucers, cake plate, bulls eye kerosene lamp, cranberry vase and many other items.
