This is a postcard of the Ale-Skovde Church as seen from the inside. Pews line both sides of the church with what I guess are stations of the cross marking each row of seats. Four chandaliers, two on each side, hang above the pews. The altar is in the middle of the church with a carved raised pulpit for the priest to address the congregation. There's a grandfather clock on the right side and is a typical Swedish type of the early 19th century. The altar was built in 1758 and the pulpit in 1720. The church benches are from the 1950's, but reconstructed in the same manner as the original ones.
