My mother was Vincenza Lauricella and her father was Antonio Lauricella. Her mother was Teresa Medico. My mother at age 4 came to Pittston, PA from San Cataldo, Caltinesetta, Sicily.
My father was Vincenzo Scarantino and he also came to Pittston, PA from San Cataldo at age 18, after the first World War.
I've been able to locate a Scarantino cousin in San Cataldo and, in fact, visited him twice. I've not been able to make contact with any Lauricella there or in the States, except for you.
My wife and I live in Allentown, PA. I was in the Air Force also, stationed in Weisbaden and Rhine-Main near Franfort.
