William J. Lauricella
William Joseph Lauricella, 79, of 12914 Oak Hill Avenue, Hagerstown, died Sunday, April 12, 1998, at Homewood Nursing Center, Williamsport.
Born March 3, 1919, in Lynn, Mass., he was the son of the late John and Lucretia Peralto Lauricella.
He attended Boston University before joining the U.S. Army Air Corps, where he was in charge of the dental laboratory at Bradley Field in Connecticut and later at Richmond Air Force Base.
He opened a dental laboratory in Hagerstown in 1947.
He was a member of First Christian Church.
He was a member of Masons, Tall Cedars, Ali Ghan Shrine of Cumberland; Hagerstown Shrine Club for 40 years; BPO Elks Lodge 378; and Morris Frock Post 42 American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne I. Lauricella; one son, Richard W. Lauricella of Waynesboro, Pa.; one sister, Josephine Savino of Lynn; one brother, Victor Lauricella of Stoneham, Mass.; two grandsons; and one great-grandson.
Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown. The Rev. Fred M. Harris will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, where Masonic services will be held at 7:30 p.m.
