FRANK P. BENNER

Succumbs Thursday Evening Following Long Illness

Frank P. Benner 72, retired farmer, passed away at his home at 226 West Finley Street, Thursday evening at 5:15 o'clock following a serious illness of the past five weeks. Mr. Benner had been in failing health since last May. Death was attributed to complications.

Frank Paul Benner was born March 29, 1869, in Sandusky, the son of the late John and Mary Magdalena Courtad Benner. Surviving are three sisters and a brother, Mrs. N.J. Seifert, of southeast of this city; Louis A. Benner, at home in this city; Mrs. Joseph Weinandy, of this city, and Miss Mary A. Benner, at home. A brother, Charles A. and two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Kromer and Mrs. Rosa V. Courtad, and an infant sister, and two infant brothers preceded him in death.

Mr. Benner was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in this city and of the parish Holy Name Society. He had been a resident of Upper Sandusky the past 22 years, having previously been engaged in farming near this city with his brother, Louis.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10:30 o'clock from St. Peter's Catholic Church with the pastor, Rev. Father William J. McKeown, in charge. Burial will be made in St. Peter's parish cemetery. The body has been taken to the Bringman & Co. Funeral Home and will be returned to the residence Saturday evening. Friends may call anytime after 7 o'clock until the hour of services.
