in front of her home with her son Arthur. It
was taken in the winter and there is snow
on the ground. Josephine is wearing a long,
dark colored dress and a shawl. Her arms are
crossed in front. Arthur is wearing a dark
colored shirt and pants and has his hands on
his hips. They are both standing in front of
an iron fence along side a gate. The house 
has two stories and has white siding. There
is a porch in the front which has four 
pillars and decorative wood work at the 
top. The telephone exchange is a small 
building which is attached to the side 
of the house.
