This is a copy of a tin-type photograph taken of Joseph
Steinhauser. It was donated courtesy of Mary Ann Walton.
I'm not sure when this studio photo was taken, but it looks
like Joseph was in his teen years. He is sitting on a cloth
covered chair with one arm resting on the arm rest and the
other on his leg. He's wearing a dark colored three piece
suit, no tie. Only the top jacket button is buttoned. The
rest are unbuttoned, exposing a pocket watch chain beneath.
He's wearing a small brimmed hat tilted to one side. He's
not smiling.
