This is a wedding photo of Joseph Steinhauser and Philomena Huss taken in 1894. This is a studio photo and it's taken in front of a curtained backdrop. Joseph is sitting in a white wicker chair. He's wearing a dark three piece suit with light piping on the jacket. His shirt is white and it's hard to tell if he's wearing a white tie or bowtie. He has dark, short, slightly receding hair and a moustache. Philomena is standing by his side and has her hand resting on the back of his chair. The wedding gown is composed of a plain long white skirt which ends just above the floor. It has long sleeves which puff at the shoulders. The bodice is very plain, and it looks like she's wearing either flowers or a brooch of some sort at the neckline. She is wearing a small flower hair piece on the top of her head. A long, heavy white veil is attached to this. Neither are smiling.
