Biography/Notes
Theresia Reinhart was the oldest child of Peter and Maria (Hartlaub) Reinhart. She was born February 13, 1816 in Niedernberg, Germany. She was baptized in the local church, St. Cyriakus. Female members of the family often had "in" added to the end of their names, hence Theresia's baptized name was Theresia Reinhardin.
Theresia was 17 years old when she came to America. She married Michael Welly. Later, she dropped the "h" from her first name and went by Teresia which appears on her tombstone. Theresia and Michael built a house west of her father's and next to her brother John and his wife Susanna. Theresia (Reinhard) and Michael Welly had the following children:
1. John (b. 1841), never married
2. Peter (b. 1842 d. 1919) married Barbara Thines
3. Michael (b. 1844 d. 1922) married Susan Jacoby
4. Joseph (b. 1846 d. 1926) married Helena Nye
5. Mary (b. 1 Mar 1849 d. 29 Sep 1918) married Frank Boes
6. Theresa (b. 1850 d. before 1860)
7. Thomas (b. 1851 d.1926) married Mary Keiffer
8. Henry (b. 1854 d.1921) married Mary Ading
9. Lavina (b. 1859 d. 1935) married Nicholas Ading
