Crawford County Co-ed Helps Greet Singer

A Crawford County girl, Miss Margie Dornbirer of Chatfield, pictured on the left, is one of a bevy of Capital University's prettiest co-eds who formed a welcoming party when Lawrence Tibbett, America's number one baritone, arrived in Columbus recently for a concert on the Capital University series. Mrs. Margaret Anne Hempey of Green Springs, with scissors in hand, in the spirit of fun asks Mr. Tibbett for a lock of hair while four sister co-eds look on and the Metropolitan Opera star assumes a supplicating pose. The girl in the white jacket is Miss Audrey Frederick of Dayton. Seated on the davenport are Miss Arlene Murphy of Canton, left, and Miss Melissa Hennesey of Middleport.
