Hello, my name is Clint Lauricella and I've put up this section to help those who want to start doing research into Genealogy. It has been estimated that the Internet has helped the field of Genealogy more than any other hobby, and the amount of information you can find today is indeed staggering. As with any technology there are treasures to be found and pitfalls to avoid. We'd like to help you make the most of research using the Internet, and beyond.
This is a fascinating hobby and once the "Genealogy Bug" bites, you're hooked for life. Lisa and I have had our site up since Jan. 1999 and it has become a popular place to visit. Over the years we've received a great deal of email from people telling us they'd like to start researching their own roots but don't know how to begin. This can be a problem because of you don't have any experience, it can seem like an overwhelming task. We've learned thru trial and error, and sometimes dumb luck, but if you approach it one step at a time you'll be surprised how much you can learn. We'd like to share with you what we've learned and point you in the right direction as you begin you're own journey.
We've organized this into three sections, each one geared towards the experience level of our visitors. We hope you can find something that helps in your search for the past.
