Married
Benner--Smith--Vincent Benner and Miss Rosa Smith were united in marriage by Rev. Fr. Francis L. Hultgen at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Tuesday morning, November 23, 1908, at 8:30 o'clock. The groom is a farmer of Seneca Township and his bride is the estimable daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Smith, who reside near this city. They will make their home in Seneca Township.

Vincent J. Benner, 80, of 114 St. Francis Avenue, died at 5:05 am today, August 31, l966, in Mercy Hospital. He had been in ill health for three years and was seriously ill for the last month. A retired farmer and a cider press operator for 30 years, Mr. Benner was a native of Upper Sandusky. He was born October 22, 1885 to Charles J. and Susan (Seifert) Benner. He married Rosa Smith November 24, l908, in St. Joseph Church here and is survivied by his wife; four sons, Paul, Otto, and Robert, all of Tiffin; Eugene, Eureka, California; four daughters, Mrs. Henry (Loretta) Klopp, Mrs. Ray (Leona) Immele, Mrs. Albert (Luella) Gase, all of Tiffin; Mrs. Don (Lavina) Musser, McLean, Virginia; 23 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; three brothers, George and Martin, Tiffin; Albert, Republic; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Reinhart, Fostoria. Two Brothers are deceased.
Mr. Benner was a member of St. Joseph Church and of the Eagles. The body has been taken to the Pahl-Nemeth Funeral Home where arrangements for services had not yet been made at press time today.

VINCENT BENNER
Tiffin, Ohio, September 1---Vincent J. Benner, 80, died yesterday in Mercy Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Benner was a member of the Eagles Lodge and St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He had been a farmer and then operated a cider press for 30 years.
Surviving are his wife, Rosa; sons, Paul, Otto, and Robert, all of Tiffin, and Eugene, of Eureka, California; daughters, Mrs. Henry Klopp, Mrs. Ray Immele, and Mrs. Albert Gase, all of Tiffin, and Mrs. Don Musser, of McLean, Virginia; brothers, George and Martin, both of Tiffin, and Albert, of Republic; sister, Mrs. Mary Reinhart, of Fostoria; 23 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 8:45 am Saturday in the church, with burial in the parish cemetery. The body is in the Pahl and Nemeth Mortuary.
